Arre, most of my relatives(even R's) are based in Delhi, so whenever we make a trip home, the 'home' is invariably Delhi and just stay put there. Having said that Kerala, Palakkad, in particular used to be our annual family vacation spot when my Paternal grandmother was alive. When she passed away our trips also dwindled :(. Seeing that ancestral house made me really nostalgic..it looks very similar to my dad's house :)
I intend to go there maybe next year as I want Namnam also to experience the place to the hilt. Lets see.Hope it materializes :)
@Deeps exactly...kids today wont have an idea of the feel we get when we visit our native place...its totally lost on them. taking namnam there wud b a good idea..it shud be a different experience alright :-)
@Uma hahah...u are really enjoying the pics arent u? comments galore! :D
Of late, I happen to go to Calicut, Cochin and Trivandrum. Should say, people have an excellent sense of building houses in Kerala. I want to go to Palakkad as well to do a picture post - hopefully can find some time for that in this workaholic city! For me, Palakkad is just a bikes drive. So, can you tell me some important places where I can take some pictures in Pallakad?
@DI Palakkad?? Vimmuuu is the best person to suggest places then..he knows palakkad better than me. Try taking pics at a place called Keezhoor though...the scenary is breathtaking!
@Rakesh Next time I'll put up the other pic with that of the original leaf ...u saw it on fb rite? What promise? Of being nice in the comments? :P
